As we turn our thoughts to taking it easy on long, hot, summer days with a chilled cider and some outdoor eats, Thatchers Cider has introduced its new premium cloudy cider in 440ml cans.
Somerset Haze is a totally new style of apple cider. Crisp, with a sweet finish and naturally hazy appearance, Somerset Haze appeals to lovers of apple cider, as well as those young adults who prefer a sweeter style, lower strength cider (4.5%).
Crafted from apples varieties including Discovery, Falstaff, Gala and Jonagold, Somerset Haze is a truly laid-back cider, perfect for summer drinking. It’s great with food too, and chef Tim Maddams has created new outdoor eats recipes – Pulled Chicken Burger with Hazy Ketchup, and BBQ Bacon Chop with Beetroot Slaw.
It is the juice of the Jonagold apple that brings a natural haze appearance to this cider. To waken the Haze, gently roll the can or bottle before opening.
