Skin Care Spotlight: Agent Nateur holi(sex) intimate oil

How many of you step out of a luxurious bath or shower, apply body oil or lotion and pause wondering if it’s safe to apply to your intimate area? holi(sex) solves this problem. We created holi(sex) for other reasons as well. We all deserve pleasure whether with or without a partner. But postmenopausal women report concerns with dryness and as we age, our sex hormones, progesterone, estrogen, testosterone, and DHEA, naturally decline. But hormones aren’t the only reason behind vaginal dryness. Detergents, certain medications (steroids and antibiotics, for example), leaky gut, and stress can all contribute.

The oil-based, quick absorbing formula (think organic coconut and sweet almond oil) is our solution to the chemical-filled lubricants on the market. But holi (sex) is not just for your intimate area, use it all over to hydrate the body and leave behind a lingering scent of jasmine, coconut, rose and vanilla.

• organic coconut oil is clinically proven as a safe and effective lubricant.

• sweet almond oil is moisutizing lubricant that stimulates blood vessels.

• vanilla essential oil acts as an aphrodisiac and boosts the libido.

• heart opening rose has an arousing scent that helps healthy tissue regeneration.

• jasmine increases libido and oxygen in the blood which stimulates hotter body temperature

*Agent Nateur products are created with non-gmo, food-grade ingredients for even the most sensitive skin.

Apply to intimate areas post-shower for comfort and to enhance your natural lubrication sans irritation.

Jena’s Notes: A form of self-care, apply before a night out to encourage sensual stimuli. I created this special oil as an extra step in self-care. That word sounds a bit played out to me, but when I apply our body oil, it DOES feel like I’m caring for my body because the oil just feels so good. However, I wouldn’t put a body oil that’s created for tightening and cellulite on my intimate parts. Nor do I want to put an irritating fragrance on there. This oil is the answer.

Tech Spotlight: Sprayable Viagra a Real Thing?

He has already helped prevent millions of men from flopping in the bedroom.

Now one of the inventors of Viagra claims to have a drug that will help many more experience the joy of sex.

Mike Wyllie, one of the team of scientists who developed Viagra in the Nineties, is poised to launch a treatment for premature ejaculation.

Tempe, a spray-on medication, has been judged safe and effective by the European Medicines Agency and is expected in bedroom cabinets early next year.

Premature ejaculation is a problem that affects at least one in four men, making it more common than the impotence caused by Viagra.

In trials, men who used the spray ahead of sex lasted on average five times longer.

Women also benefited from longer love making, with both sexes expressing greater satisfaction with their sex life.

Karezza: the new trend reviving sex lives

An unconventional approach to sex known as karezza has been linked with improving health and restoring relationships

There’s an interesting new idea being discussed in sex therapy circles as a way to enhance relationships and revive sex lives. It involves having regular intercourse without it ending in orgasm.

The practice is called karezza and while the trend is new, its roots are in ancient times, borrowing from Taoist and Tantric principles, says Marnia Robinson, a karezza devotee and author of Cupid’s Poisoned Arrow (Random House), in which she writes about climax-free sex.

It should be noted that karezza is a sexual practice, not just kissing and cuddling.

“In simplest terms, karezza is affectionate, sensual intercourse without the goal of climax,” Robinson says.

10 Foods That Help Make You Better at Sex

For centuries, we mortals have obsessed over aphrodisiacs--those naturally occurring sexual stimulants we could enjoy before (you know) enjoying. It turns out it's not some fools errand, and there's actually some legitimate science at work here. Oysters? (The secret is zinc.) Kale? (Yes, really!) Here, we break down 10 foods to help boost between-the-sheet performance. Let us know how they work for you in the comments section. Then again, maybe don't.

There's an 80s nostalgia kick happening in fashion and film, and it extends all the way to the cupboard with wheat germ, a secret sexual booster. Not only is wheat germ high in fiber (good for your heart and stamina), it's rich with the amino acid L-arginine (the same substance found in energy supplements like N.O. Xplode). "Arginine is a vasodilator," explains Dr. Leslie Bonci, director of sports nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh. "We call it 'athlete's Viagra.' It increases oxygen delivery to all organs of the body." (We get it.) It doesn't hurt that arginine--also found in granola, cashews, and root vegetables, if you're not feeling the germ--is involved in the production of certain anti-aging hormones. What makes you feel randier than looking young?

Mmm hmm: Wheat Germ Scones with Dried Fruits and Nuts

"Dark chocolate puts you in the cuddling mood," says Dr. Eric Amaranth, a sex therapist in private practice in Manhattan. "I don't keep track of science. I keep track of what works." Thankfully, we're on top of both (so to speak). While we always assumed chocolate was one of those Valentine's Day clichés--an allegedly boner-ific aid--we stand corrected. Dark chocolate is high in anti-oxidants and phyto nutrients, explains Dr. Bonci. "It helps prevent LDLs--the bad cholesterol--from adhering to the artery." And better blood flow leads to better sex. Chocolate is also rich in magnesium (which soothes nerves), methylxanthines (boosts libido) and phenylalanine, an amino acid that produces dopamine (the feel-good chemical). "Magnesium is important for muscle contraction and relaxation," Dr. Bonci adds. "The electrical charge that lets muscles expand and contract." Translation: Ba da bing.

Will Gruit Enhance Your Sex Life?

All you dudes pounding double IPAs, triple IPAs, wet-hopped beers, dry-hopped beers, black IPAs, white IPAs? Raise a glass, because that might be all you can raise. According to beer lore, hops cause impotence.

Is the lore true? No. The infamous phytoestrogenic compounds in hops are in too small quantities, even in the hoppiest beers, to affect male erectile function. That said, there are plenty of reasons to push hops out of bed: Their trendiness in the last 10 years has flooded the market with unbalanced, largely undrinkable beers that are overly bitter, cloying, and exhausting. Thankfully, the backlash has begun. Welcome gruit, an ancient style of unhopped beer that is suddenly making a comeback after being dead for hundreds of years.
