Snack Spotlight: Life’s Grape® peanut butter dipped vine-dried grapes

Life's Grape® peanut butter dipped vine-dried grapes are crafted with our very own, signature Selma Pete grapes, which we affectionately call PBJ. They are reminiscent of the classic American sandwich we all love. They are delicious, rich, and creamy. The perfect snack to brighten up your day.

Simple Ingredients: Peanut butter flavored coating (cane sugar, RSPO certified palm oil, partially defatted peanut flour, nonfat dry milk, peanut oil, salt, soy lecithin), raisins, organic peanut flour, sea salt, RSPO certified palm oil.

Selma Pete grapes are dried hanging on the vine drinking up the California sun, just as Mother Nature intended. They never touch the ground. Long gone are the days of dried on the ground, clumpy, sunburnt raisins. Hello vine-dried grapes! The Selma Pete and vine drying process creates a sweeter, meatier, and juicier nutritious snack that everyone loves.

The Perks of our Peanut Butter dipped vine-dried grapes: 100% Real Fruit, Kosher, Sulfur/Preservative Free, Cholesterol Free, Trans Fat Free, Low Sodium, 110 Calories per Serving

About the Products
There is a new variety of grape, the Selma Pete, that has changed the name of the game. It is a cross between a Thompson Seedless, Fiesta and Muscat grape.

Selma Pete grapes are dried hanging on the vine under the shade of the canopy so they never touch the ground. Vine-drying allows the grape to remain juicy and delicate. Tada! Vine-dried grapes! Long gone are the days of dried on the ground, clumpy, sunburnt raisins.

Vine-drying paired with the Selma Pete grape creates a sweeter, meatier, juicier, all natural gummy bear like snack that you will love.

About the Company
Everyone has that one friend that is overly passionate about their work. That’s us, the crazy grape family! We're a multi-generational family that purchased our first vineyard over 30 years ago in the gorgeous Central Valley region of California. Since then, our grapes are our life and we aren’t afraid to shout it to the world!

We began planting Selma Pete vine-dried grapes for better agricultural sustainability, only to find this grape changed our view on snacking. We loved the sweet and juicy taste. Once we realized how delicious these grapes were, we started handing them out to all of our friends. After they tried them, it wasn’t long before those hands were coming back for more, more, and more!

We know good food comes from family farms, not factories. That’s why we grow, process, and package all our own grapes, so our friends and fans can have a flavorful and healthful snack. There’s nothing in our vine-dried grapes we’re not proud of!

We've shared our passion with our family and friends and have finally decided to share it with the world!

Cornell Is Asking You to Name Its New Grapes

Scientists from Cornell University are turning to you, the public, to name two new varieties of grapes--one for winemaking, one for eating--that are coming out of Cornell's agricultural research labs. Right now, the varieties are called "NY76.0844.24" and "NY95.0301.01," but those robot names belie some delicious-sounding qualities.

The first one, let's call it "24," is a white wine grape that's both cold- and disease-resistant and that, according to grape breeder Bruce Reisch, has "excellent wine quality and aromatic characters reminiscent of Gewurtztraminer or a citrusy Muscat."

The second, ".01," is a dark red grape that grows well with no pesticides, perfect for the organic market, and that Reisch says "exhibits moderate body, good structure, and a blueberry flavor on the palate."

Cornell's press release says that "foreign-sounding" names are popular, but we say let's take the grape back from the foreigners! We're just spitballing here, but the "24" sounds like a Mavis, or maybe a Noreen. For ".01," rolling with the organic blueberry thing, let's go no-nonsense: Bangor Anarchist. Has a nice ring to it, even if the best blueberries come from closer to the coast.
