Industry News: GUILT-FREE INDULGENCE: EMMI LAUNCHES NEW OOOLA SECRETS MOUSSE

 

Swiss dairy supplier Emmi has announced the launch of Ooola Secrets, a new chocolate mousse dessert and permissible indulgent treat.

Available in two variants, Ooola Secrets contains a hidden delight within the 60g pots – the Chocolate and Raspberry Mousse features chocolate chips, while the Triple Chocolate Mousse has a liquid Caramel core. The little pots of indulgent mousses offer the balance of a low-calorie everyday treat produced with quality ingredients.

Emmi, the largest Swiss milk processor and one of the most innovative premium dairies in Europe, aims to position Ooola Secrets as a permissible everyday sweet treat. Targeting adults aged 25-44 years-old, the premium product is served in packs of three, uniquely produced in innovative and distinctive packaging with windows for consumers to view the product.

Cincinnati-Based Brands Bring Beer and Dessert Together to Create Stout & Pretzels Ice Cream

CINCINNATI, OH (September 19, 2017) – Graeter’s Ice Cream, a 147-year-old, family owned craft ice cream company, and Braxton Brewing Co., a local brewing company, introduce first-of-its-kind Stout & Pretzels Ice Cream. This Graeter’s flavor has been inspired by the success found in Graeter’s and Braxton’s previous collaborations – Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout and Blueberry Pie Brown Ale. The unique ice cream was previewed at Braxton Brewing Co.’s booth at Oktoberfest Zinzinnati and will be introduced for purchase in Graeter’s scoop shops and online the first week of October.

The one-of-a-kind Stout & Pretzels ice cream is a creatively crafted ice cream influenced by Braxton Brewing Co.’s Dead Blow Tropical Stout. Eighty pounds of macerated dates are brewed with a Dry English Ale yeast to provide a vibrant, fruity and tropical aroma with a subtle amount of fruity esters. Dead Blow is a dry, full bodied, smooth stout that is lighter on bitterness.

Similarly, Graeter’s Stout & Pretzels ice cream will mimic the flavorful notes found in Braxton’s brew to create an ice cream with crunchy pretzels to compliment each distinct note. This sweet treat will only be available for purchase for a limited time.

About the Company
Nutrtitionist Bethany Eaton came across CO YO coconut yoghurt while looking to source alternatives to dairy and soya for her clients. She liked it so much that she immediately started talking to Australian creators Henry and Sandra Gosling about bringing CO YO to the UK. Behany and her husband Paul now run COYO in the UK and are producing it in their own dedicated dairy free factory in Kent.
