Company Spotlight: AtlantaFresh Artisan Creamery

AtlantaFresh came to be through the vision of food research and development chef Ron Marks. A native of rural Pennsylvania, Ron grew up around his parents’ general store, where he was surrounded early on by local dairy farmers and their incredibly fresh, delicious milk. In 2009, Ron decided he wanted to combine the concept of that wonderful, fresh dairy from his childhood with his passion for food and flavor experimentation. The result was extraordinary. Along with a small group of family and friends, Ron invested in some yogurt making equipment, sourced some grass-fed milk from local famers, and made his first batch of rich, delicious Greek yogurt. And so, AtlantaFresh was born – and with it, our dedication to produce the highest quality Greek yogurt using only farm-fresh milk from local, fully-pastured, grass-fed cows. No mass production, only small-batch, simple, good dairy products.

It didn’t take long for the world to see that AtlantaFresh was something special. First came the raves from local and regional media, then the notice of national magazines like Cooking Light and Food & Wine. Then Whole Foods came calling, awarding us with one of their most generous Local Producers Grants ever. This gave us the opportunity to expand our reach throughout the Southeast, and then across the country. We never rested though, and instead took the opportunity to dream up a whole line of products derived from our delicious Greek yogurt. Before long AtlantaFresh was producing cream cheeses, frozen yogurts, salad dressings, premium heavy whipping cream, and our newest wonder-drink, Wheymonade. All made with the freshest grass-fed milk, and accented by the complex, tantalizing flavor combinations our customers have come to know and love.

We’re not slowing down around here. We’re still coming up with fresh new products and exciting flavors, and expanding our reach further and further. We continue to dream big, but our eyes never wander far from our main goal – bringing you the freshest, most delicious products in the most sustainable way. That means remaining true to the original principles Ron Marks laid out in the beginning. Small batches of yogurt from local, well cared for, happy cows.

We think we can taste the happy. Can you?

Nation's No. 1 organic grass-fed dairy brand now offers 6 delicious flavors of award-winning yogurt

LA FARGE, Wis., June 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Organic Valley is adding two delicious new flavors to its award-winning, 100 percent grass-fed yogurt line. Beginning in July, Black Cherry and Peach Grassmilk Yogurt will be available in single-serve cups. These will complement the current lineup of Strawberry, Wild Blueberry, Plain and Vanilla flavors. The yogurt is created in small batches and contains only clean, straightforward ingredients. And of course, Organic Valley never uses antibiotics, synthetic hormones, toxic pesticides or GMOs.

"The 100 percent grass-fed yogurt cups appeal to people looking for premium yogurt with extraordinary flavor, nutritional excellence and grab-and-go convenience," said Scarlet Paolicchi, busy mom and founder of Family Focus Blog. "They really are a creamy, delicious treat and I just love them."

Dairy Spotlight: Rachel’s Celebrates 25 Year Sainsbury’s Relationship With Exclusive Greek Style Lemon & Gin Yogurt

Organic dairy brand expands its Greek Style range with new, unique flavour to toast to 25 years with longstanding retail partner

In celebration of its 25 year relationship with Sainsbury’s, Rachel’s is proud to announce the launch of its brand new Greek style Lemon and Gin yogurt, available exclusively in Sainsbury’s stores across the UK. As the first major UK retailer to stock the Rachel’s range, a purpose-built dairy was constructed in Aberystwyth to deal with the new nationwide demand. Still based there today, Rachel’s now sells over 20million packs of yogurt in the UK each year.

The perfect way to celebrate the sunshine and designed to give an irresistible burst of freshness which you can enjoy pre-5pm, the flavour is set to be a hit with shoppers when it hits Sainsbury’s fridge aisles this May.

Demonstrating Rachel’s passion to providing naturally luxurious organic yogurts and responding to consumer demand for variety and distinction, the new product will offer an alluring alternative to the existing Greek style range. Also tapping in to the increasing popularity of gin, a spirit which has experienced monumental growth over the past few years having recently returned to the inflation basket after a 13-year absence.

Daniel Wheeler, Marketing Manager at Rachel’s, commented: “We are thrilled to celebrate 25 years of working with Sainsbury’s and are extremely proud of how far Rachel’s has come since it secured its first listing in the supermarket all those years ago. We are committed to providing consumers with innovative flavour combinations and feel that our new Greek Style Lemon & Gin is a pertinent one for such occasion. We’re confident that this combination will prove popular with consumers, given that it hero’s the current tipple of choice, and hope it will be enjoyed by many Sainsbury’s customers this summer.”

The new luxurious Greek Style Lemon & Gin flavour will be launching in Sainsbury’s from 22nd May 2017, priced at £2.00 (RRP) for a 450g pot.

About Rachel’s Dairy

Founded by the eponymous Rachel Rowlands, the inspiring story of Rachel’s Dairy begins many years ago on the fields of Brynllys Farm in rural west Wales.

Nurtured by Rachel's family since 1942, Brynllys has been farmed organically for generations. In fact, Rachel’s mother was one of the first people to sign up to the Soil Association in 1952. So, it was only natural that Brynllys went on to become Britain’s first ever certified organic dairy. Read More
