$10,000 Donation from Philanthropic NestFresh Helps to Bring Hope, Encouragement to Florida
DENVER, CO (November 29, 2018) – NestFresh, the leader in sustainable, local, humane and natural eggs, is once again demonstrating its mission to serve the community through philanthropic efforts with a $10,000 donation to Feeding Tampa Bay. In response to the damage done by Hurricane Michael, Feeding Tampa Bay, part of the national Feeding America network, has continued to focus on providing food to the hundreds of thousands of food insecure families in the ten-county area of West Central Florida, all in an effort to create a hunger-free Tampa Bay. NestFresh, in providing support to Florida’s massive ongoing relief efforts, is committed to supporting organizations doing good work in communities across the country. With this donation, NestFresh endeavors to bring peace, stability and support to the victims of Hurricane Michael as their efforts to rebuild their community continues.
“It’s important to NestFresh that we do our part to support the communities we serve and be a force for good locally,” shares Brandy Gamoning, Marketing Manager for NestFresh. “Our donation to Feeding Tampa Bay is our way of doing just that, partnering with an organization that is just as dedicated to bettering the community as we are.”
One in every seven adults and one in every four children in the area served by Feeding Tampa Bay struggle with hunger, and the aftermath of Hurricane Michael has made the need to provide consistent access to food an even more dire. As the backbone of hunger relief in Tampa Bay, Feeding Tampa Bay has been pivotal in helping to rebuild areas shocked by Hurricane Michael’s damage. NestFresh’s $10,000 donation will directly help to support these efforts.
NestFresh believes raising happy hens is just one of many steps to cultivating healthy humans. For this reason, the company is proud to support and partner with organizations that give back to local communities across the country. Feeding Tampa Bay is the latest charitable organization to join NestFresh’s roster of giving partners, including Stout Street Foundation, Denver Rescue Mission and Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado among others.
NestFresh cage-free eggs was the first nationally distributed egg line to receive the Non-GMO Project Verified seal from the Non-GMO Project and to offer liquid and dry egg products that are also Non-GMO Project Verified for retail, food service and manufacturing.
