About the company

It all started in the Greenwich Village area of New York in 1972. Childhood friends Leonard Marsh, Hyman Golden and Arnold Greenburg saw more potential in fruit than just something to throw in the lunchroom. They began selling fruit drinks to health food stores, commencing the birth of Snapple beverages under the Unadulterated Food Corporation.

Fast forward to the land of putting baby in the corner, hair bands and acid-washed jeans. We're talking 1987, my friends. That's when Snapple teas were born. Snapple Lemon Tea was the first. The godfather of Snapple teas. But now Snapple produces about 70 flavours of tea and juice drinks, all "Made from the best stuff on Earth™. Snapple is known for its personality, wittiness and quirkiness – never compromising and always being different.
